Top Hairstyles For Spring

One of the great things about wearing luxury wigs in the UK is that it’s really easy for you to change your look. You don’t have to wait for your hair to grow out, or worry about damaging it if you colour it too often.

With that in mind, and now that spring is definitely here and summer is on the way, you might want to consider changing up your look ahead of the warmer weather.

If you’re not sure which way to go, take a look at some of the top spring hairstyle trends picked out by InStyle magazine recently.

In at the top of the list is the trend for a high ponytail. Miley Cyrus was named as one of the celebrities who has pulled this off particularly well, with the publication pointing out that you can wrap a piece of hair from the tail around the base of the ponytail for a “clean finish”.

To get the high ponytail right, you often have to pull your hair quite tight. By wearing a wig you’ll be saving your scalp and will be right on trend.

Long bobs, also known as lobs, are set to stay firmly in favour as we move into spring. But with summer just around the corner, it’s time to move away from a slick look and instead embrace some messy waves.

Super straight hair is also set to be back in style, according to the publication. It cited Julia Roberts as the queen of this look. While there are a number of products you can use to protect your real hair from hot styling tools, you might feel that it’s better to have a wig with a super straight finish for the occasions when you want to rock this look.

Whether you’re styling your own hair or a wig, don’t forget that accessories can be a great way to inject some more style and maybe a little colour to your appearance. Hair pins were singled out by the news provider as especially good additions to your accessories.

Katy Perry, with her rainbow barrettes, was named as someone to take a lesson from. She wore two barrettes featuring coloured sparkly gems in her blonde pixie cut and they looked stunning.

If you’re looking to change up the colour of your hair for spring and summer, you might want to take some of the suggestions from Allure on board. Earlier this month the magazine picked out some of its favourite hair colour trends of the moment.

First up are white blonde highlights, which can help “freshen up” any blonde hair and will look as though the sun has naturally lightened your colour.

For brunettes, copper penny is a shade that is recommended. It’s a hair colour that’s trending at the moment, with the likes of Emma Stone and Genevieve Angelson currently sporting this hair colour that’s described as “super brightening for the skin”.

If you want something a little more dramatic, bold pink is one of the go-to shades for the warmer weather. The news provider noted that pastels are out of favour, with bright colours coming to the fore.
